designing a typeface considering the calligraphic styles
In order to design a typeface based on calligraphy, one should
be aware of the exclusive esthetical features of existing calligraphic
styles. The quality of the line differs from one style to another;
The curves, cuts and thickness of the lines can be observed as the main
qualities. Therefore by applying these features to a line, it can
reach to the different styles of calligraphy. The design process of this
project demonstrates different approaches to design of the letters
with calligraphic characteristics.
