investigating the border between moving and still image
movement is indivisible from the object which is in motion. it is intrinsically linked to the object. The human body lives in a constant state of movement and change, yet it is always in search of stability and balance. the propensity of the body to achieve balance allows us to picture it in our minds as immobile. however, it is the very movement of the body in search of balance which describes it. this research project endeavors to explore the threshold where movement and immobility meet; the area in which the image can deceive the observer the most.
